Description: This project utilized a Proposition 55 award of $15.6mm to construct a new 44,431 square foot facility in Venice. The campus carved out of a site occupied by an existing LAUSD elementary school. Both schools are separated with a fence and operate independently. Construction began in July 2008 and was completed in August 2009. The project incorporated sustainable design practices including the addition of a solar panel array on the roof and the use of sustainable building materials. It also received a grant for its certification through the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) program. Pacific acted as project manager with project costs covered through Green Dot's additional Prop 55 award funds.
