In 2009, PCSD embarked upon a $40 million capital campaign to double its Project Equity.

The fulfillment of this campaign will ensure that PCSD can create 50,000 new seats over the next five years. Moreover, PCSD will thus become operationally self-sustaining so that all such funding will be
invested in new educational facilities for worthy, high-quality charter schools throughout the State of California in communities where the need is greatest.
