PCSD is led by a dedicated team of professionals with a broad range of experience in business, finance, law, architecture, urban planning, public affairs, real estate development, and education.

| Glenn Pierce — President & CEO Glenn co-founded PCSD with NewSchools Venture Fund in 2003. He brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, real estate development and K-12 education management to his role as PCSD’s President & CEO. He has been a leader in the charter school movement since 1997, during which time he has developed nearly 60 charter schools in 10 states. Previously, Glenn served as the Chief Performance Evaluation Officer and Chief Development Officer for a regional franchisee of Einstein-Noah’s Bagel and as the Senior Director of Asset Development with the Pizza Hut division of PepsiCo (now Yum Brands). He spent nearly a decade in commercial lending with Citibank and regional banks that are now a part of PNC Corp and Wells Fargo. Glenn holds an A.B. in Economics and Business from Lafayette College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Citicorp’s Institute for Global Finance and the Broad Center for Urban Superintendents. |

| Jeffrey Graham — COO Jeffrey has more than 25 years of real estate, law, investment banking, and finance experience, and has developed a variety of commercial real estate projects and residential, recreational and educational facilities. Jeffrey holds a B.A. in English and American Literature from Brown University, an M.A. from Loyola Marymount University, and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He is admitted to practice law in California and New York. |

| Anna Olvera — External Affairs Anna has over 15 years of public and private experience in economic development and real estate. At PCSD, she manages the overall entitlement process against all PCSD projects and functions related to marketing and investor and foundation support. She holds a B.S., cum laude from the University of Southern California, and an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management. |

| Layne Pinkernell — Controller Layne brings 15 years of public accounting experience to his role as PCSD’s Controller. During his time at Price Waterhouse Coopers he focused primarily on large non-profits organization and private foundations. Layne received a B.A. in Accounting from Cal Poly Pomona. |

| Scott Thomas — Finance Scott provides financial planning and analysis for all PCSD efforts. A former high school teacher in New York City and East L.A., he holds a B.S. in Biology and Mathematics from Georgetown University, an M.S. in cellular biology from New York University, and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. |

| Antonio Gonzalez Antonio has extensive experience in architectural design, community development, and school construction. He holds a B.A. in Architecture from the UC Berkeley and a Masters in City Planning from MIT. |

| Patrick Anton C. Ontiveros Patrick also serves as PCSD’s general counsel. A native Angeleno, Patrick earned a B.A. in Economics from Yale and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in California and New York. |

| Ramiro Viramontes Ramiro brings more than 20 years of corporate experience in construction management, facility operations and property management. He has an A.A. in Architecture from Pasadena City College and holds the CFM designation from the International Facilities Management Association. |

| Michael Rueda Michael supervises capital upgrade projects, in addition to his project management duties. Previously, he served as a building manager at Countrywide, where he managed the corporate headquarters facilities, including the largest trading floor west of the Mississippi. |

| Megan Hadden Megan brings construction, finance, and nonprofit experience to the PCSD team, having held project and construction management positions for several Habitat for Humanity affiliates along the Gulf Coast to aid in the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. She received a B.S. in Business Administration from Cal State Northridge. |

| Kahlmus Eatman Kahlmus brings operations and nonprofit experience to the PCSD team. Previously, he worked for Aspire Public Schools and the Bridgespan Group. He received a B.S. in Economics from Duke University. |

| Jose Jimenez Jose joined PCSD from Aspire Public Schools. Jose was formerly Manager of Facilities Operation for 11 year at the Stockton Unified School District, the State’s 14th largest school district with a student population of 38,000. Jose holds “B” and C-36 licenses through the State of California Contractor License Board. |

Each summer, through the Education Pioneers program, PCSD hosts graduate school students who are passionate about reforming public school education. The interns assist the PCSD team on several projects (www.educationpioneers.org). |

PRO BONO LAW ASSOCIATES Carl Gismervig and Vivek Rao have joined PCSD for internships generously sponsored by their law firm, Dechert LLP. Carl holds a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Vivek holds a B.S. in Business Administration from USC and a J.D. from UCLA. Carl will be based in Sacramento, PCSD’s Northern California office and Vivek in Los Angeles. LOCAL COLLEGE INTERNS Brian Gonzalez and Carlos Figueroa III — Brian is an Urban Studies major and a senior at Loyola Marymount University, Carlos, is a Construction Engineering Technology major and a junior at Cal Poly Pomona University, assist in all aspects of project management during ongoing internships with PCSD.
